Relaxing in hypnosis

What is Hypnosis?
Hint: You are already an expert at it

HYPNOSIS has been used for thousands of years as a healing method to access the mind's wisdom. It's a state of focused attention and heightened awareness that is directed within, and is a normal and natural part of being human. It's common for us to enter into a state of hypnosis when we watch a movie or drive a car without remembering that we passed certain landmarks, or daydream as we wait in line. Someone can call our name and we don't hear them. The rest of the world disappears from our awareness. Our eyes are open and we are in a state of hypnosis. (This is why TV advertising works.) Hypnosis in various forms is something which we all experience throughout the day, depending on what we are doing. You've done this thousands of times and this is why hypnotherapists say that anyone who wants to be hypnotized can be. An outside force isn't causing you to do this. It’s just you, using your mind in a different way, allowing yourself to get into a different state of awareness. It's easy to see why all hypnosis is considered self-hypnosis. And most people find the state of hypnosis to be extremely pleasant as it involves profound levels of relaxation to both the mind and body. When we close our eyes and bring our awareness inward with deep relaxation, profound inner resources become available. This is why modern day hypnosis is very empowering. Instead of being robotically programmed to change, my clients are assisted in tapping into their own inner resources to make profound life-long breakthroughs. This is a doorway to the space where your mind and heart meet. In a calm, guided state of hypnosis, we can access the subconscious realm, where beliefs, emotions, memories, and deep-seated intuitive resources reside.

What is Hypnotherapy?

HYPNOTHERAPY, a powerful tool for mind-body transformation, uses the expanded state of hypnosis to access the subconscious mind, where negative thoughts and beliefs and unhelpful emotional reactions from childhood are stored. We relax the conscious mind to easily communicate with the subconscious mind, so the two can work together in harmony for your greatest good, moving you into positive and powerful action.  In this space of inward reflection, beneath the noise of daily life, in the deeper layers of the mind, we find the undercurrents that quietly shape the way you behave, think about yourself and feel. Hypnotherapy gently brings these beliefs into the light, allowing you to change and let go of what no longer serves you in order to rewire the mind for healing,  self-empowerment and peace. You access your inner resources and become more you—with more clarity, self compassion, and a deeper self awareness. It’s a fast and effective process that facilitates long-lasting change, as you connect with your innate intuitive guidance system to discover that the answers you are seeking are already within you. If you are open to this approach and are looking for change, I'm honored to guide you in this remarkable process.

Clinical Hypnotherapy Services

Are you being treated for a medical or psychological condition that you would like support for?

CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY, also called therapeutic or medical hypnotherapy, is a specialized form of care used to support wellness in the presence of diagnosed illness, injury, or mental health challenges. Unlike general-purpose hypnosis, it is always intended to complement licensed medical, dental, or psychological care.

How can it help?
Clinical hypnotherapy is a science-based, mind-body collaboration, leveraging well-researched techniques that guide you into a deeply focused, yet relaxed state. In that state you can tap inner resources— you can lower stress hormones, regulate pain perception, strengthen immune and healing responses, and gain a sense of control and hope.  When used as part of a holistic approach, clinical hypnotherapy empowers the client—not by doing something to the body, but by activating what the body already knows how to do: heal, integrate, and restore balance.

Because these sessions involve medically significant conditions, a written referral from a licensed provider (physician, psychologist, therapist, dentist, etc.) is required. It's easy to get and if you need more guidance on this, call me  or book your complementary consult below.

If you are going through something that is not described here, please schedule a consultation and we can talk about it. If it has to do with the mind in any way, hypnotherapy can be very useful.

Healing  can also mean awakening, remembering, and returning to wholeness from the inside out.

hypnosis for pain

Pain speaks in the language of the body, but its roots reach into the mind. Hypnotherapy helps to soften and sometimes even eliminate the experience of pain and restores a sense of comfort, safety, and control. Transpersonal or Spiritual Hypnotherapy

The Quiet Threshold: Connect with the Inner Sanctuary of your Soul

There are moments in life when we sense that restoration needs to happen at a level deeper than thought—beyond the words we use to narrate our lives, and beneath the strategies we’ve tried to fix ourselves. Spiritual or transpersonal hypnotherapy meets us at that quiet threshold, where the conscious mind softens and the vast inner world comes forward, offering us a more expansive and mysterious form of growth.

Spiritual hypnotherapy invites us to engage the imaginal and symbolic layers of the psyche. Here, transformation doesn’t always follow a linear path. Instead, it unfolds through intuitive experiences—visions, sensations, archetypes, and memories—some deeply personal, others that feel ancestral, collective, or even timeless. These experiences may not always “make sense” in a conventional way, but they often leave us with a felt sense of clarity, peace, and belonging. It’s not about adopting a belief system; it’s about experiencing a deeper truth that resonates from within.

In a typical session, I guide you into a relaxed state of hypnosis, where the subconscious becomes more accessible. This is the fertile ground where deeply rooted beliefs, spiritual questions, suppressed emotions, and even transpersonal experiences—such as a sense of interconnectedness with all life, or communication with inner guides—can gently surface. Clients report a broad range of outcomes: relief from long-standing emotional pain, insight into life’s deeper meaning, or simply a feeling of being “returned to themselves.” Sometimes, the work brings closure to unfinished grief or trauma; other times, it sparks a creative or spiritual awakening.

Though spiritual hypnotherapy is often described in poetic or mystical language, it has roots in serious psychological work. The “transpersonal” branch of psychology, championed by thinkers like Carl Jung, Stanislav Grof, and Abraham Maslow, recognizes that healing includes our spiritual dimensions—not just our emotional and behavioral ones. Research in recent decades has begun to support this view. Studies on altered states of consciousness, such as those induced by meditation or hypnosis, show measurable changes in the brain—reduced activity in the default mode network (associated with ego-based thinking), and increased connectivity across regions involved in insight, emotion regulation, and self-transcendence. These shifts help explain why people often emerge from hypnotic experiences with new perspectives, and why they can feel so deeply moved—even transformed—by what they encounter within.

Past Life Regression

Are you feeling called to explore beyond the everyday mind? Past Life journeys can be enjoyed by everyone, all spiritual beliefs are welcome here. Clients leave these sessions with a profound sense of clarity, lightness of being, physical ease and a renewed reverence for life. QHHT
Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT)

QHHT is a unique form of hypnosis that invites you into the deepest levels of hypnosis, where expansive insight, soul memories, and healing potential reside. Developed by renowned past life regressionist, speaker and author Dolores Cannon after facilitating thousands of regressions over the course of decades, QHHT opens access to what she called the “Subconscious”—not just the personal subconscious mind, but the most expansive part of your consciousness, that holds timeless wisdom and a profound knowing of your soul’s journey.
In a QHHT session, clients often experience past life memories, symbolic imagery, moments of profound knowing and direct guidance that can offer emotional insight and relief. Physical and emotional healing can occur as this deeper intelligence brings resolution and understanding. QHHT is both an inner exploration and a sacred remembering—one that reconnects you with your essence, your purpose, and the vast intelligence of the Universe moving through you. This experience is especially powerful for those who are ready to stop outsourcing their power and begin trusting their own inner wisdom.

Contact with Non-Human Intelligences

For some, the night sky is more than stars and silence. It may be the site of mysterious memories, strange sensations, or a sense of being watched or visited. Others carry a quiet certainty that they have communicated—whether in dreams, meditative states, or waking reality—with non-human beings. These experiences can be awe-inspiring, disorienting, isolating, or deeply meaningful. If you’ve had what you believe to be a contact experience with a non-human intelligence, know this: you are not alone, and your experience is welcome here.

happy clients

Kim approaches hypnotherapy with a sense of calm and care that really helped me feel comfortable with the process. I was feeling stuck. Old patterns were preventing me from moving forward on a number of fronts. I really appreciate her attention to detail and follow-through. It was just what I needed at a critical time. Highly recommended!

A.C.  St John

My session with Kim was truly an amazing experience. She was incredibly kind, grounded, and supportive throughout the entire process. I felt deeply connected and safe to share my story—she held space for my trauma in a way that felt both gentle and empowering. The hypnosis itself felt like just five minutes, though it lasted for hours. Time truly disappeared. I received the recording afterward and have listened to it several times—each time, I uncover new layers and insights. I’m still integrating what came through, and it continues to offer healing and clarity. I’m so grateful for Kim and her presence in this work.
